Penetron's crystalline technology was responsible for preventing the penetration of chlorides (from salt water) and increasing durability in the tunnels and tanks. PENETRON was installed to waterproof the tanks and aquariums, the foundation floor and the lift wells. In addition, the roof and the entrance area of the aquarium were treated against corrosion.
Products used
PENETRON ADMIX was added to the concrete mix in the concrete mortar installation. China Construction First Group Construction & Development, the main contractor for the two amusement parks, used PENETRON ADMIX-treated concrete for WaterWorld's massive pool and poolside waterways, as well as the large network of waterways in the Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness.
