The Mornos Canal is the main source of drinking water for Athens, supplying 380 million m³ (over 100 billion gallons) of water annually to the largest Greek metropolis. The main channel is 192 km (119 mi) long and alternates between underground tunnels and aboveground channels. The source is the Mornos River dam, a reservoir containing 780 million m³ (over 206 billion gallons) of water located about 200 km (124 miles) northwest of Athens.

Products used
A combination of PENEPLUG, PENETRON and PENECRETE MORTAR was used on the interior and exterior surfaces to successfully repair leaks in the channel.
