Sports Hub
The Sports Hub complex includes a new National Stadium (a 55,000 seat multi-purpose facility), an indoor Aquatic Center (6,000 seats), a multi-purpose indoor arena (3,000 seats), the Kallang Wave Shopping Mall (41,000 m² retail space), the Water Sports Center on the shores of the Kallang Basin (with playground, skate park, giant chess set, climbing and beach volleyball), and the Sports Information and Resource Center (SIRC), with a library, sports museum and exhibition space.
Products used
PENETRON ADMIX was used on 55,000 m³ of the base plate and retaining walls. PENEBAR SW-55 waterproofing strips were installed in more than 18,500 m of construction joints. PENESEAL PRO was used to treat 16,000 m² of internal wet areas and exposed concrete, including the reinforced concrete roof.
