Products used
The supplier of the concrete mix for the project has prescribed PENETRON ADMIX SB (in pre-measured, soluble bags) for the concrete used for the aquarium pump station, which circulates the salt water through the aquarium tanks. The contractor also used PENEBAR SW, an expandable water stop, to seal the construction joints. In addition, PENETRON slurry replaced the air containment process for the walls of the pump station to reduce the risk of air bubbles in the new concrete, and PENECRETE MORTAR was used to fill any voids (such as connecting holes, air bubble holes, etc.) in the concrete.
