The completed $6.8 million project was built by Gridor Construction, the project's main contractor. During the planning phase, the project engineer at Short Elliot Hendrikson contacted Penetron for a reliable waterproofing solution for the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP)'s new concrete elements. After assessing cost-effectiveness, simplified dosing with pre-measured soluble bags and on-site technical support from Penetron's local representative, PENETRON ADMIX SB was specified for the Madrid project.

Products used

PENETRON ADMIX SB, supplied in pre-measured soluble bags, was added to over 1,300 cubic yards (1,000 m³) of concrete by Hamilton Ready-Mix, the concrete supplier, and was used for the floors and walls of the water storage structures, the aero-mod treatment tank, and the drain structure.
