The Sandton Gate development will include four commercial buildings (offices/retail spaces) and a mixed-use center with retail and public buildings, all flanked by a row of four residential buildings on the south side. The entire Sandton Gate area is connected by a network of public squares, sidewalks and bike lanes.
Products used
PENETRON, PENECRETE MORTAR, and PENETRON ADMIX products were used to waterproof all underground concrete structures, including the retaining walls, foundation plates, water storage tanks and exposed floors on the ground floor. In addition to the waterproofing requirements of the underground structures, the roof panels were also waterproofed with the Penetron system.
