Pontal Tower Park
The Parque do Pontal Tower complex is a new development on the banks of the Guaíba River in Porto Alegre, Brazil. This mixed complex combines an office tower with a hotel and offers a wide range of amenities. It includes a shopping center, an event hall, several stores, a fitness club, and medical and childcare facilities. This project is known for integrating work, relaxation and lifestyle functions into one central location, making it a multi-faceted development that significantly strengthens Porto Alegre's urban infrastructure.

The Penetron System was utilized to safeguard the below-grade concrete structures of the Parque do Pontal Tower, which are located 65 meters (20 feet) below the water table and exposed to significant hydrostatic pressure. To ensure the durability and waterproofing of these structures, over 20,000 m² of PENETRON ADMIX-treated concrete was used for the basement and parking facilities. Additionally, PENEBAR SW (45 and 55) Type A swellable waterstop tape, along with PENEBAR PRIMER, was applied to seal the construction joints, providing comprehensive protection against water ingress.
