New Roberto de Silva Municipal Theatre
The new Roberto de Silva Municipal Theater is the center of an urban renewal program aimed at revitalizing the area around Via Dante Alighieri, close to downtown Rho. “The design of the new theater was conceived as a kind of 'magic box' that can be adapted to different activities — such as shows, exhibitions or conventions — by creating a variety of sizes and environments,” explains Enricomaria Gastaldo Brac, CEO and Managing Director of Penetron Italia.
Products used
The original construction plans specified a post-injection PVC waterproofing membrane system. However, the installation of this system proved to be too clunky and time-consuming. Penetron Italia's local expert proposed a simpler and proven waterproofing solution consisting of PENETRON ADMIX to treat the concrete mix and PENEBAR SW waterproofing strips to permanently seal the resulting structural joints.
