Jewel
Jewel, Singapore's iconic architectural masterpiece, is located at Changi Airport and connects Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The 10-story complex, with an area of over 137,000 m², offers a unique combination of nature, shopping and recreation, making it a special destination for travelers and locals alike. Under the impressive glass dome, there is a lush five-story rainforest with more than 2,000 trees, countless flowers and shrubs. Jewel's highlight is the 40-metre-high Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, where rainwater flows seven stories down into the Forest Valley from the center of the dome, providing a calming and cool environment.
Jewel isn't just a transit area—it's a destination in itself. With over 200 restaurants, bars and shops, it offers a first-class shopping and dining experience. The complex also addresses the needs of travelers, including a 130-room hotel, a self-check-in lounge and an early baggage check-in system, encouraging visitors to fully explore Changi Airport's newest attraction. Whether it's for a quick stopover or a scheduled day trip, Jewel has become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike.

Products used
Penetron solutions have been used at Changi Airport before, and because of their proven performance, PENETRON was chosen again to protect Jewel's essential concrete elements against water infiltration and deterioration. PENETRON ADMIX was added to more than 32,000 m³ of concrete supplied by Pan United and Alliance Concrete for the construction of the basement floor, elevator wells, water tanks and the various passenger ramps. In addition, the PENESEAL PRO liquid sealing layer was applied to the exposed concrete surfaces of the flower boxes, fire truck entrances, sales locations, engine rooms for the air handling units (AHU), the Forest Valley floors and the concrete compensation tanks.
