Penetron contributes to the sustainable protection of concrete in one of the largest infrastructure projects in Belgium
As part of the Oosterweel connection — the infrastructure project that should transform mobility around Antwerp — the bridge decks of the Bypass North addressed. A total of 30 bridge decks realised, each with an area of approximately 450 m². During the site inspection, cracks were found on several bridge decks, which led to additional measures for sustainable protection.
Collaboration with Lantis, ROCO and Masters in Service
Commissioned by Lantis, in collaboration with ROCO and executive partner Masters in Service, was chosen to use Peneseal Pro as an innovative solution for internal concrete sealing and protection of the concrete surface before the installation of the asphalt layer.
